The following cookies and browser storage items are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They are set without requiring your consent, as they are essential for authentication, security, and core functionality.

We use the following essential cookies and browser storage:

• Authentication token (localStorage): stores your session token after login, managed by the Base44 platform. Required for secure access to your account.
• Language preference — visitcare.language (localStorage): stores your selected interface language so it persists across visits.
• Service sort order — visitcare_services_sort (localStorage): stores the business owner's preferred service display order within the authenticated app.
• Sidebar state — sidebar_state (cookie, 7 days): stores the sidebar open/closed state in the authenticated app for interface convenience.
• Consent record — visitcare.cookieConsent (localStorage): stores your cookie consent decision and timestamp so we remember your preferences.

All of the above are strictly necessary and are always active regardless of your consent choice.

The vc_ref cookie is the only optional cookie we use. Its purpose is to attribute your registration to the sales partner who referred you via a referral link (e.g. visitcare.io/?ref=AGENTCODE).

If you consent to referral tracking, this cookie is set as a first-party cookie with a retention period of 30 days. It uses the SameSite=Lax attribute and stores only the referral code, no personal data.

If you reject optional cookies, no vc_ref cookie is set, no server-side click tracking occurs, and no referral attribution happens automatically. You can still enter a referral code manually during registration.

VisitCare does not use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics), marketing cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking pixels.

We do not collect browsing data for analytics purposes. The only optional tracking is the referral cookie described above, which is consent-dependent and limited to referral attribution.

When you proceed to payment, you may be redirected to our payment provider's checkout page. The payment provider (Stripe or Base44 Payments) may set its own cookies on its own domain to process the transaction securely.

These cookies are governed by the payment provider's own privacy policy and are not controlled by VisitCare. We do not set any cookies on the payment provider's domain, nor do we receive personal data from cookies set by them.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the 'Cookie Settings' link in the footer of any page. This opens the Cookie Preferences modal where you can accept all, reject optional cookies, or toggle individual categories.

Withdrawing consent clears the vc_ref cookie if it was previously set and stops any future referral tracking. Your essential cookies and storage remain active as they are necessary for the website to function.
